Great view of the caldera & sunset. Helpful staff

Hotel Mylos is isolated a bit from major tourist area, spectacular views and excellent restaurants surround it. Janos could not have been better in making our stay the best of our trip.

Booked this hotel based on reviews and posted pictures. After spending 3 amazing nights in Santorini I am pleased to say our expectations were surpassed. Each morning the breakfast was ready when you were. The views were breathtaking and the room was more than comfortable. We were a 15 minute walk from Fira and a short bus ride away from Oia. The location was perfect! We would book here again.

We recently stayed at this hotel on our way to another island. Firostefani had been recommended as a nice area to stay, being quieter and less touristic than Fira. We had a rather small but nice room, with a beautiful view of the Caldeira from a sizeable balcony shared with two other rooms. We were able to continue savoring the view at breakfast, which was served on the balcony. The room was very clean, with nice linens, a large bed, a refrigerator, and a stock of plates, glasses, and utensils. It was quiet but ideally located, on the small commercial street of Firostefani, and a two-minute walk from the bus and transfer parking lot. The hotel is right on the pedestrian street, so, unlike some others, you don’t have to walk up and down a lot of steps. We stayed in a superior room with Seaview, number 103. The bed was huge and comfortable, taking up most of the room. There was a small table and a chair under the window, and a cupboard with crockery and an electric jug. The bathroom was a good size and there was the option in the bathroom of fixed or handheld shower, or a rainfall shower. There were shutters on the window which could be closed from inside and permitted airflow so we didn’t need the air conditioner at night. The place -and the island - felt safe. The decor of the room was very attractive - it was much nicer than I had expected from the photos. Floors were tiled, and the whole place was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was simple but more than adequate. There is a small, extendable clothes line outside on the shared balcony. The view is incomparable - it takes your breath away. The staff are friendly and helpful, including the manager, Panos. We took the airport shuttle organised by the hotel, and were pleased we did (25 Euros for 23 each way). We found it very reliable. There is a mini supermarket attached to the hotel, and it is surrounded by restaurants.

What a great place with a gorgeous view! We rented 2 rooms and they were both immaculate! The kids room was very spacious and super clean and our room was fantastic. Nothing like waking up every morning to the breathtaking views and the delicious breakfast! Stunning sunset views too! The host, Panos, was super friendly and very helpful with directions to wherever we wanted to go. The hotel is in a great location. We walked to Thira every night (about a 10 minute walk) and surrounded with many little shops and restaurants. Would definitely come back!! Excellent!!

Panos was an excellent host! It was our first time to Santorini so the information he provided was much appreciated about rental scooters, transportation to and from the port, the island, etc. We enjoyed the location because it was close enough to activities, food, and shopping, but far enough away from the hectic crowds and nightlife.

Everything was perfect

Very friendly and hospitable staff. Extremely comfortable bed. Excellent location in lovely Firostefani - don't bother going to Oia for the sunset, watch it from the hotel's terrace! Breakfast served on the terrace according to my order felt like a real treat. Highly recommend!

So conveniently close to the local bus stop. Close the very reasonably priced eateries and restaurants. Has the fanciest dinner restaurant right beside it. But the best part of its location is that it's attached to the biggest mini mart in Firostefani. The owner, Mr. Manolis, mans the reception desk. He does it with a smile. He's really friend and so is all of the hotel staff. The rooms are all newly renovated. They're clean and spacious with AMAZING views of the caldera. I would definitely come back for another visit.
